Celebrate Together

On Saturday, 1 August 2026, Swiss traditions will come to life at Landquart Fashion Outlet. Look forward to a day filled with alphorn music, yodelling, traditional cowbell performers, flag throwing and workshops for the whole family.

Various groups from the region will bring Swiss heritage into the heart of the centre, creating a special atmosphere between the stores. A traditional parade will open the programme before the individual groups delight visitors with their performances.

Experience Switzerland

At 11:00 AM, the day begins with a traditional parade through Landquart Fashion Outlet. The participating groups will come together to create a lively opening to the celebrations.

From 11:30 AM, the traditional custom of «Gässeln» begins: Alphornformation Heidiland, Jodelclub Hochwang and Fahnenschwinger Graubünden will move through the centre in small groups, surprising visitors with spontaneous performances at various locations.

At the same time, interactive alphorn and flag-throwing workshops will take place at 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM. Padre e Figlio with Aurora combine alphorn music and flag throwing, while Carsten & Laurin demonstrate their skills in traditional flag throwing. Children and adults can experience both traditions up close and try them for themselves.
